As a Senior Inventory Analyst on our Inventory Control team, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring accuracy and integrity across our financial reporting—directly impacting the success of our business. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional partners, support more than 700 store locations, and dig into transactions to resolve issues, improve processes, and provide insights that shape smarter decisions. From reconciling key inventory processes to contributing to successful audits and close cycles, you’ll be at the center of work that drives both operational efficiency and financial performance. How You'll Make an Impact

  • Manage and analyze all aspects of Rental activity, including processing, reconciliation, and margin analysis.
  • Ensure Rental PMUs align with company standards.
  • Investigate gross margin variances against budget and prior fiscal years.
  • Confirm Sales and COGS for Rental transactions.
  • Prepare and report on Inventory Reserve and Bad Debt.
  • Oversee and reconcile store open/close transitions and transition inventories.
  • Validate data feeds into the Stock Ledger in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Prepare budgets and projections related to Inventory Control.
  • Create and distribute inventory reports.
  • Monitor changes to reserves, Textnet on-hands, and markdowns.
  • Support month-end close, account reconciliations, and inventory reconciliations.
  • Assist with physical inventory preparation and processing.
  • Contribute to quarterly and year-end audit processes.
  • Identify process improvements to strengthen financial accuracy and efficiency.
  • Perform additional responsibilities and special projects as required.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Three to four years of inventory analysis experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills strongly preferred; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access) required.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft, AS400, or Oracle Retail preferred.
  • Strong detail orientation with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to run effective meetings and collaborate with co-workers, cross-functional teams, and field management.
  • Willingness to travel as needed, including occasional overnight, weekend, or evening work.

NOTE:

  • Note: This hybrid role is based in New Jersey and requires in-office presence three days per week. The current office is in Basking Ridge, with a planned relocation elsewhere in northern New Jersey.

The hiring range for this position is $55,000 - $63,950 per year. This range represents the base salary only, in good faith at the time of posting, and the position is not eligible for bonus compensation. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.
