To support our mission, wWe’re seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Omni Store Planner to join our dynamic team! This role is instrumental in driving store clustering strategies while also managing the operational planning behind store openings and closings. As a key liaison between Merchandising, Planning, Allocation, Store Operations, and cross-functional project teams, the Omni Store Planner ensures that our assortment strategies are effectively tailored to store clusters and that inventory and logistics are executed with precision and efficiency.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Analyze store-level sales, customer demographics, product performance, and competitive insights to define and continuously refine strategic store clusters.
  • Apply advanced statistical models—including clustering algorithms and predictive analytics—to optimize localized assortments and inventory investments.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to manage the operational execution of store openings and closings, ensuring seamless transitions and clear communication across all stakeholders.
  • Oversee inventory wind-downs for store closures, including replenishment shutdowns, removal from assortment matrices, and disposition planning (e.g., transfer, liquidation, or vendor return).
  • Lead onboarding for new store launches by reviewing proformas, developing tailored assortment strategies based on clustering, and building initial order templates for Allocation teams.
  • Continuously monitor cluster performance and store planning effectiveness, proactively refining strategies based on sales data, market shifts, and operational feedback.
  • Create clear, visually compelling presentations and dashboards to communicate findings and planning recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of planning processes to drive operational efficiency and streamline workflows.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • 5+ years of experience in retail planning, buying, or financial analysis with a proven track record of driving business results.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Expertise in retail math, assortment optimization, and applying statistical techniques to solve business challenges.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring consistent follow-through.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex concepts clearly and influencing stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and skilled at managing multiple priorities in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required. Candidates with equivalent experience and certifications in data analytics (e.g., Tableau, SQL, Power BI) or retail operations are strongly encouraged to apply.

 

Note: This is a hybrid position that requires on-site presence several days per week. Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance to our office.

The hiring range for this position is $65,000 – $69,000 per year. This range represents the base salary only and the position is not eligible for bonus compensation. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.
